OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Review: GSMArena’s Triple 200MP Verdict

Silver white flagship smartphone with round triple camera module and orange accent ring

OPPO Find X10 Pro MaxThe OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the first smartphone with three 200MP rear cameras, and GSMArena’s full review gave it the outlet’s Editors’ Choice award. PetaTech24 did not test this phone. Every test result here comes from GSMArena’s review, and regional prices come from launch coverage named in the sources.

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the spiritual successor to the Find X9 Pro, because OPPO skipped a straight Pro model and launched three variants: the Find X10 E, the Find X10 and the Pro Max. It keeps the 6.78-inch display size but upgrades the panel, chip and cameras. The question is whether the cameras and battery justify a price GSMArena calls steep.

Warning: Europe gets a smaller battery, so start with the battery section.

Key Takeaways

  • First triple 200MP rear camera system on any smartphone, per GSMArena.
  • Editors’ Choice award, with class-leading low-light video and ultrawide performance in GSMArena’s verdict.
  • Battery lab score of 25 hours 24 minutes on the tested 8,000mAh global unit, topping GSMArena’s chart.
  • Europe gets a smaller 7,150mAh battery, down from 7,500mAh last year.
  • Full charge took 1 hour 10 minutes in GSMArena’s test, slower than expected for 80W.
  • Dimensity 9600 Pro beats Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in combined AnTuTu 11, but throttles to about 50 to 60 percent under sustained load.
  • Steep price, average speakers and no camera Quick Button are the main drawbacks.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Design and Display

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max measures 161.3 by 76.6 by 8.4mm and weighs 233g, while OPPO lists the Titanium Grey version at 235g. The front uses Crystal Guard glass, the back is matte glass and the frame is aluminum. GSMArena calls the build solid, but warns the phone is slippery without a case.

The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display runs from 1Hz to 144Hz, although only selected games reach 144Hz. GSMArena measured 2,337 nits on a 75 percent white patch and about 3,500 nits on a 10 percent patch, against a 3,600-nit specified peak. The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid and BT.2020, dims with 3,840Hz PWM and reaches a 1-nit minimum.

Luna White is the showpiece finish, with a two-tone back, a silver camera island, knurled detailing and a matte orange Hasselblad accent ring. The customizable Snap Key sits on the left edge, the Quick Button is gone, and the ultrasonic fingerprint reader works flawlessly in GSMArena’s testing.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Cameras: Three 200MP Sensors

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max camera system is the first triple 200MP setup on a smartphone, and no other phone has a 200MP ultrawide. The main camera uses a new Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor, while the 3x telephoto and 13mm ultrawide share the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor. OPPO claims DeepPix gives 60 percent better full well capacity and 17 stops of dynamic range, a claim GSMArena did not test.

In daylight, the main camera on the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max delivers a great default 26MP output with excellent dynamic range, but fine detail in grass, leaves and small text can look soft. GSMArena found the 12.6MP Standard mode finer in detail, and downscaling 50MP files to 26MP beats the default output. People shots are very good, with good background blur in fixed 12.6MP Portrait mode.

The 3x telephoto on the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the star in daylight, close to pin-sharp, and 6x stays solid and usable, while the ultrawide is nearly as strong.

Hardware and GSMArena’s verdict, camera by camera
Camera Sensor and lens GSMArena verdict
Main 200MP, ISOCELL HPC, 1/1.3 inch, f/1.5, 24mm, OIS Great, but default 26MP can soften fine detail
Telephoto 200MP, ISOCELL HP5, 1/1.56 inch, f/2.1, 70mm, 3x, OIS Excellent at 3x, close to pin-sharp
Ultrawide 200MP, ISOCELL HP5, 1/1.56 inch, f/2.2, 13mm First 200MP ultrawide, class-leading at night
Front 50MP, f/2.0, 18mm, autofocus Excellent selfies, wider view, no quality loss
Video 8K30, 4K up to 120fps, all three rear cameras Mostly positive, stabilization hit or miss
Verdicts per GSMArena review text; DeepPix figures are OPPO claims
◆ END OF REPORT ◆

Low-light performance is top-class in GSMArena’s verdict, and the ultrawide almost matches the vivo X300 Ultra. The 3x telephoto stays properly nice in the dark and 6x remains usable, while selfies are excellent and the wider 18mm front lens fits more in the frame with no quality penalty.

Video: strong tools, mixed stabilization

Video is where the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max stretches furthest ahead, with 4K120 and 8K30 on all three rear cameras, including the ultrawide. Dolby Vision is on by default except in 8K, and Pro mode adds open gate recording, O-Log2, custom LUTs, a waveform and focus peaking.

Daytime footage is very good, but sharpness is only good to very good at 1x and the Find X9 Ultra is vastly superior at 2x. Night video is even better, yet stabilization is hit or miss: static shots look tripod-like but panning turns jumpy.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Battery: Two Regions, Two Phones

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max battery is 8,000mAh outside Europe and 7,150mAh in Europe, for air-transport restrictions, and GSMArena tested the global unit. That is a step down from the 7,500mAh battery fitted to all markets last year. GSMArena’s lab test returned an Active Use Score of 25 hours and 24 minutes, topping the outlet’s battery-life chart, but that result belongs to the bigger global cell.

Charging is the review’s clearest disappointment, because the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max takes 1 hour and 10 minutes for a full charge in GSMArena’s test, trailing the Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Galaxy S26 Ultra at the 15- and 30-minute marks. The hardware is generous: 80W wired, 50W wireless, 55W USB PD and 10W reverse wireless, plus smart charging caps. Speakers are the other weak spot: minus 28.8 LUFS, flat and bass-stripped.

Magnetic accessories need a case, because the built-in magnets are too weak alone. OPPO’s Quicksand Shimmer cases enable the 22.5W 5,000mAh UltraSlim Magnetic Power Bank, and the Teleconverter Kit for the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max adds 3.28x to the 3x telephoto for true 10x reach at Rs 24,999 in India.

Performance and Software

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max runs MediaTek’s 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro, with two C2-Ultra cores at 4.55GHz, three C2-Pro cores at 4.35GHz and three more at 3.1GHz, plus Mali-G2 Ultra NX graphics. GSMArena reports the chip beats the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the combined AnTuTu 11 score and advanced ray tracing, while the Snapdragon wins pure CPU and non-advanced graphics.

No numeric benchmark scores are quoted in the review text. Sustained performance is the weak point, falling to roughly 50 to 60 percent of maximum under load. The phone uses LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage, with 512GB only and 12GB of RAM in Europe, while a 1TB model with 16GB alone supports satellite connectivity.

ColorOS 17 on the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max runs on Android 17, with five OS updates and six years of security patches promised. The interface borrows from iOS in its lock screen and app drawer. An AI Agent combines Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT with an AI Mind Space, plus AI scam-call detection.

The Bigger Picture

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max earns its Editors’ Choice award on camera versatility and battery endurance, and GSMArena calls it an Ultra in all but name. The price is the hurdle: €1,799 in Europe and Rs 1,99,999 in India, both for the 12GB plus 512GB model, with India sales starting October 29 and no US price announced so far. Amazon listings seen during the review priced the same model at £1,399 in the UK and €1,690.95 in Germany, but those are retailer listings, not official prices.

The Find X9 Ultra costs around €1,500 with faster charging, two telephoto cameras, a slightly more powerful chipset and better speakers, with cameras about on par. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra sits a little over €1,000 and the Galaxy S26 Ultra a little below €1,000.

The standard Find X10 is cheaper in India at Rs 1,39,999 for 12GB plus 256GB and Rs 1,69,999 for 12GB plus 512GB, but it swaps the 200MP ultrawide for a 50MP unit. Buy the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max for the most versatile camera system and the huge global battery. Skip it if the smaller European battery or steep price bothers you.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max FAQ

What is the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max price in Europe and India?

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max costs €1,799 in Europe and Rs 1,99,999 in India, for the 12GB plus 512GB model. No US price has been announced.

Does the European model really have a smaller battery?

Yes. Europe gets 7,150mAh against 8,000mAh elsewhere, down from 7,500mAh everywhere last year. GSMArena’s 25-hour 24-minute result came from the larger global unit.

Is the camera better than the Find X9 Ultra?

Not in every respect. GSMArena found the two about on par overall, with the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max ahead on the ultrawide and low-light video, while the Ultra keeps hardware edges.

Does the box include a charger?

It depends on the region. The global unit included an 80W SuperVOOC charger, but the European box ships without one.

Did PetaTech24 test this phone?

No. All test results here come from GSMArena’s review. India prices come from launch coverage; UK and German figures are retailer listings.

Final Word

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is the camera flagship to beat on versatility, with three useful 200MP cameras, standout low-light video and a chart-topping global battery. Its flaws are narrow but real: a smaller European battery, unhurried charging, average speakers and Ultra money without the Ultra name.

Outside Europe, it is an exceptional choice for camera versatility and endurance. For European buyers, the same phone is still excellent, just a little less exceptional than the headline numbers suggest.
